Whiston Town Hall
Whiston Town Hall formerly known as Dragon Lane Community Centre was officially opened by Gordon Oakes Esq on the 26th May 1973. The Centre has undergone many changes including a security fence, extended car park and more recently Staff have been working hard to improve the surrounding grassed areas.
The Town Council Office is based at the Town Hall, where you will always find a friendly member of staff happy to help you.
Whiston Town Hall is the largest of the Town Council premises and is frequently hired for Wedding Receptions, Birthdays and other special occasions.
The Town Hall is also used by various Community Groups ranging from Morris Dancers to Indoor Bowls.
Whiston Town Council Chamber and Meeting Room
As well as the main hall in the centre there is a Meeting Room. This room has recently been refurbished and is available for meetings, training days and lectures.
Twenty people can be accomodated around the table with a further five to six seats at the rear of the meeting room.
Projector screen available and refreshments can be provided (with prior arrangement).
